Transformational leadership on school leaders of Malaysian transformation schools 2025 (TS 25)

The purpose of this article explores how school leaders are facing the current transformation of schools in achieving the direction of the Malaysian Transformation Schools 2025 (TS25) and strengthening the leadership in leading the goals of the TS25 programme. This study also presents why transformational leadership needs to be adopted by school leaders in TS 25. This article draws upon the contemporary transformational leadership literature as design and methodology approach. The findings of this article propose the theoretical and practical contexts for school leaders regarding TS25. The current leadership needs to shift school leaders towards transformational leadership practices, and the Aminuddin Baki Institute (IAB) should provide short courses to school leaders in TS25. This article offers a commentary about the changing style of transformational leadership practice in TS 25 as an originality and value.
