Measures Taken by College Principals for Quality of Education in District Rahim Yar Khan
The study entitled; measures taken by college principals for quality of education in district Rahim Yar Khan. Objectives of the study were; to explore the role of principals in provision of quality education andto analyze the role of college principals in quality of education through curricular activities. The nature of this study was descriptive, quantitative approach was adopted. The simple random sampling technique was adopted and the data was collected from the sample. The total number of sampled colleges were 16. The sample of the study was; 48 teachers 240 students of colleges of district Rahim Yar Khan. For this study, the data was collected by using questionnaire. 61.4% (47.1%+14.3%) of respondents disagreed with the statement that principal coordinate in curricular program and 33.4% (26.9%+6.5%) agreed with the statement while 5.2% remained undecided. 58.1% (40.4%+17.7%) of respondents disagreed with the statement that principal enhance standards of education by providing an outstanding environment and 33.6% (26.1%+7.5%) agreed with the statement while 8.3% remained undecided. It was evaluated that majority of principals did not coordinate in curricular program, however some of them coordinate in curricular program. It was concluded that majority of principals did not enhance standards of education by providing conducive environment, however some of them enhance standards of education by providing conducive learning environment. It is recommended that principal should coordinate in the curricular program so that teachers get instruction and motivation to teach well. The coordination of principal in curriculum plays vital role in the smooth running of educational system of college. It is recommended that principal should enhance standards of education by providing anconducive learning environment. It has the great effect on quality of education. So it is the foremost priority of a principal to ensure the conducive learning environment in institute.
