Impact of Success Factors on Project Success: Empirical Evidence from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

The identification of success elements and success criteria is critical for the successful completion of construction projects. The major goal of this research is to identify success factors and criteria for higher education development initiatives in the Pakistani province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Projects are not successful owing to variety of causes producing delays in completion with high cost notably in construction business with context of higher education. A total 233 questionnaires were gathered from key stakeholders participating in 26 projects of 19 public sector institutions. A structured questionnaires were utilised to obtain data by employing convenience sample approach. This research indicated that project activities factors, human resource, the environmental variables, the procurement factors all positively and substantially affect the project success.
