Abstract

This study was carried out in the nursery of certified seedlings, Directorate General for Horticulture and Forestry, Hindia/ Karbala province from 1/3 to 1/12/ 2021 season to determine the effect of spraying the vegetative part of 6 month old local Cirtus limon L. seedlings by Humus pow and Fetrilon combi2 nutritional solutions and their interactions on some vegetative and chemical parameters of studied plants. Seedlings of local (Citrus limon L.) were sprayed 6 times with the above nutritional solutions. Results showed significant exceeding of both factors of study when Humus pow (A3) treatment was significantly exceeded other treatments and gave the highest average of total leaves number, branches number, leaf area, total leaves content of chlorophyll and the percentage of carbohydrates in leaves compare to the lowest average in control treatment. While, Humus pow (A4) treatment was exceeded other treatments in the fresh weight of total vegetative, fresh and dry weight of total root when it gave the highest rates compare to control. Fetrilon combi2 nutritional solution was significantly affected the above properties as the A4 treatment was significantly exceeded and gave the highest average of studied properties in comparison with control. The interaction between the two factors was also exceeded other treatments significantly when A2+B3 was significantly exceeded other treatments and gave the highest average of total leaves number, branches number, leaf area, total leaves content of chlorophyll and the percentage of carbohydrates in leaves compare to control treatment. A3+B3 treatment was also showed significant differences and gave the highest average of fresh weight of total vegetative, fresh and dry weight of total root in comparison with control.
