Abstract

Steganography is a process of hiding information into carrier information. Classified information is collectively referred as steganography, secret message can be image, audio, video, text or network. The carrier of message is based on the secret data where the secret data is encrypted and embedded. Several traditional steganography methods are available where the security of current methods has to be improved. In this paper methods based on LSB (Least Significant Bit), PVD (Pixel Value Difference), EMD (Exploiting Modification Direction), DWT (Discrete Wavelet Transformation) and DCT (Discrete Cosine Transformation) of each domain has been studied and evaluated. Certainly, based on PSNR value, capacity, robustness and security illustrious results are attained.
